iOS 17 may have gotten lost in all the buzz around the new Apple Vision Pro after last night's annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC23), but it comes with a bunch of updates worth talking about.
Check our handy Twitter thread for a summary of the rest of Apple's WWDC announcements — including the lowdown on iOS 17, the Apple Watch software update, and the new 15-inch Macbook Air.
Hands down the most hypey reveal from last night's annual WWDC was the Apple Vision Pro: A mixed reality headset with a giant virtual screen users will be able to navigate with their voices, hands, and eyes.
Apple dubbed their first product launch in the AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality)-enabled wearable space "the most advanced personal electronics device ever," and priced the device — which will be available early in 2024 — at $3,499.
"Gaming and media stand out to me as the most natural fit for this new platform," says maker Thomas Wang of the new App Store that will launch alongside this device. "What will you build?"
