Ever wish there was a way to see the latest AI products, developer tools, or productivity apps in a click? Now there is.
In November, our globally dispersed team met in person for a hackathon. From it, we delivered Product Hunt Rewind so you could see your contributions from 2022.
Today, we're excited to ship and share yet another hackathon project with you: the new and improved Product Hunt Chrome extension.
"Our goal in creating the new extension was to enable daily discovery of products, tech trends, discussions, maker stories, and more without sacrificing utilities that other browser extensions might offer, like most visited pages, or date and time," says maker Jamie Sprowl.
Weave discovery into your workflow: The Chrome extension allows users to unearth and learn more about top products, read about industry trends in bite-sized formats, and work alongside fellow makers from around the world — right inside their browsers, every time they open a new tab.
Enjoy a personalized view: Users can login with their Product Hunt account to personalize their new tab view, including their latest streak. Other personalization options include toggling between card view and list view, as well as dark mode.
The filter tabs up top pull from the favorite topics you're following, and the extension will show your most visited sites even if you don't connect your Product Hunt account.
Share your feedback with us: What enhancement stands out from the previous Chrome extension? What features are missing that you hope to see in the future? We'd love to hear your thoughts.
- Cmd J installs a Chrome extension to allow users to access ChatGPT in any window using a keyboard shortcut.
- SignalZen integrates Live Chat from users' websites to Slack or Microsoft Teams.
- Empy is a Slack bot using the Non-Violent Communication (NVC) framework to improve conflict management in the workplace.
- OpenSight resolves >70% of customer queries by automating actions like issuing refunds, applying discounts and providing text replies.
- SaaSFrame 2.0 is a library of design research for SaaS builders.
- Spinach.io for Jira teams brings Jira into Zoom or Google Meet to connect your boards to reality, identify blockers, and eliminate the need for a scrum master.
- Intuned connects to Jira, Github, Linear and more to provide a centralized view of all engineering processes and results.
